Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting secondary and high school students, including those in secondary transition programs. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to use your expertise in speech-language pathology to make a meaningful impact, working with a caseload of approximately 50 students. You’ll collaborate with engaged educators, families, and support teams, helping students achieve their communication and academic goals for the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Minnesota (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience in school settings or with adolescent populations highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Positive, flexible approach and commitment to fostering student growth

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs in secondary students
  • Develop and implement IEP-driven, individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct therapy in both individual and group settings as appropriate
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, paraprofessionals, and IEP teams to ensure integrated student support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
  • Contribute insights to multidisciplinary meetings and transition planning for older students

Enjoy a school-year position starting in late August and continuing through early June, offering 37.5 to 40 hours weekly within a supportive and professional environment.
