Qualifications & Credentials:
- Active State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Minnesota
- CCC-SLP credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Valid Educator Credential: Professional License, Level 2, 3, or 4 (as recognized by Minnesota standards)
- Demonstrated experience providing speech/language therapy in K-12 school settings preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding special education services
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct treatment to students with speech, language, fluency, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress
- Work closely with teachers, special educators, and families to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and state protocols
- Contribute to a positive, supportive atmosphere for students and staff
