Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active New Mexico PED certification (required)
  • Current New Mexico SLP license (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in an elementary school setting is highly valued
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ communication strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, delivering insights and recommendations to support student progress
  • Coordinate services and share progress with staff, district personnel, and parents
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to school, district, and state compliance standards
