This contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about working with children in a school-based setting during the Extended School Year (ESY) program.

You’ll work weekdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, June 29 through July 30, 2026, helping children enhance their speech, language, and communication skills to ensure their continued progress. The 5-week assignment allows you to make a difference while still enjoying your summer.

Ideal Attributes and Qualifications:

  • Active SLP license in New Jersey
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Experience serving pediatric or school-based caseloads
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to tailor therapy to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student communication progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate records and documentation
  • Engage students with creative, evidence-based practices
