Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time, contract opportunity provides the chance to be part of a dedicated educational community from September 4th to June 25th, working 35 hours per week (8:15AM–3:15PM). The role centers on an elementary caseload, requiring skill, compassion, and a commitment to helping young learners thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid New Jersey SLP licensure required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a school-based setting, ideally with elementary students
  • Proven ability to manage caseloads, perform comprehensive assessments, and deliver effective therapy and interventions
  • Confident and adaptable within a school district environment
  • Reliable transportation and readiness for daily commuting
  • Willingness to complete onboarding requirements: TB test, physical, and fingerprints for both agency and district
  • Please note: Candidates requiring CF supervision or applicants with only SLPA credentials cannot be considered due to supervision limits

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
  • Complete required assessments, evaluations, and progress reports as needed
  • Develop and implement targeted intervention plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school-wide initiatives
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with school policies and state guidelines
