A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located in Edmond, OK. This opportunity involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. The role includes occasional travel to support multiple school sites within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student performance and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in school-based meetings and maintain compliance with educational regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-age children and knowledge of educational environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to different school sites within the district as needed.
