Step into a rewarding school-based role making a daily difference in the lives of students from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 5, 2024, through June 12, 2025, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM – 2:15 PM). You’ll support a caseload of 46 students at the elementary level, working with both Speech IEPs and middle school SDC students who require speech services.

Your Speech-Language Pathology expertise will help children develop vital communication skills that set the foundation for lifelong learning. You'll collaborate with a supportive school team, participate in IEP meetings, complete necessary assessments, and draft comprehensive reports. The school welcomes both seasoned SLP-CCCs and those pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year, offering a nurturing environment for growth. Experienced SLPAs are also encouraged to apply should SLP positions remain available.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure or eligibility (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY welcome)
  • Strong organization and communication abilities
  • Comfort navigating IEP processes and caseload management
  • Experience working with elementary populations a plus
  • Bilingual candidates will be viewed favorably for their ability to serve a diverse student body

Primary responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect SLP services to students with varying speech needs
  • Conduct evaluations, write thorough assessment reports, and maintain accurate records
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
  • Track and monitor student progress data for compliance and growth
