Your background in pediatric and school-based speech therapy, combined with a strong foundation in healthcare and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), will be valuable assets in this role. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is highly preferred, as you’ll engage with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC-SLP or open to Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings is desirable
- Proficiency with assessment, intervention, and IEP development
- Strong communication skills, with bilingual Spanish/English fluency preferred
- Compassionate and collaborative approach to student care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and evaluations for students K-12.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track progress for each student.
- Support generalization of communication goals within classroom and school routines.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment.
