Desired Background & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress.
  • California SLP licensure or eligibility required.
  • Proficient in both Spanish and English.
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology.
  • Understanding of IEP processes and treatment planning.
  • Positive, collaborative approach with students, families, and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver individualized speech and language therapy for students.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Engage in culturally responsive communication with students and their families.
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Adapt services as needed, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy modalities.
