Desired Background & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress.
- California SLP licensure or eligibility required.
- Proficient in both Spanish and English.
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Understanding of IEP processes and treatment planning.
- Positive, collaborative approach with students, families, and school staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver individualized speech and language therapy for students.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and maintain detailed documentation.
- Engage in culturally responsive communication with students and their families.
- Collaborate regularly with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Adapt services as needed, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy modalities.
