As a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll work 37.5 hours per week, supporting a diverse caseload that may include students ranging from early elementary to high school. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- School-based and/or pediatric experience highly valued
- Proficiency delivering both assessments and therapeutic intervention in-person
- Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy and monitor progress throughout the academic year
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Foster a positive, supportive environment to help each student reach their communication goals
