What we’re seeking:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathology state licensure
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong diagnostic, intervention, and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students
- Adaptability and initiative in multi-site assignments
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop personalized therapy plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct and consultative services as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support each student’s progress
- Document assessments, progress notes, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
- Support students across multiple locations, adapting approaches to best meet their needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on communication disorders
- Stay current on best practices and legal compliance in school-based speech services
Hourly compensation for this position ranges from $60 to $80, reflecting experience and assignment details.
