Step into a highly impactful virtual SLP role serving Minnesota schools for the upcoming 24/25 academic year. This contract opportunity is perfect for dedicated Speech Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows who thrive in remote environments and are passionate about supporting students’ communication development.
You’ll work with a diverse PreK–12th grade population, collaborating with educators and families to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Utilizing your teletherapy and pediatric expertise, you’ll create individualized treatment plans that help students build vital communication skills. Both full-time and part-time remote contracts are available to fit your schedule preferences.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending Minnesota SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA
- At least 2 years of previous school-based experience
- Strong technology skills; ability to work with virtual platforms
- Completion of technical screening and internet speed verification
- Annual professional liability insurance (minimum 500K/500K coverage)
- Experience with teletherapy/virtual instruction preferred
- SLPA candidates must have relevant, school-based background
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect virtual speech/language therapy to students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
