Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with preschool-aged children, utilizing your expertise as a bilingual (Spanish/English) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an Early Childhood Center setting. This engaging position runs from August 17th through May 28th, providing 37.5 hours per week dedicated to supporting young learners’ communication and language development.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Illinois state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, able to deliver services in both languages
- Previous experience working with early childhood or preschool-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competency skills
- Passion for fostering language skills with diverse learners
Role Expectations:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for early childhood students, with a focus on Spanish-speaking children and families
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educational staff, families, and other specialists
