Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC near Elgin, IL! This contract role at a private therapeutic day school offers a part-time schedule with the potential for increased hours. You will support students across ages K-22, lending your expertise through both direct service and oversight of evaluations. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC required
  • Proven school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
  • Familiarity with a range of communication disorders
  • Competence in performing evaluations and developing treatment plans
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling needs
  • SLPAs will not be considered for this assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy to students ages K-22 within a therapeutic day school environment
  • Conduct assessments and maintain oversight for student evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress
  • Participate in team meetings as needed

Job Details:

  • Part-time: 21 hours/week, typically Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
  • Hours typically fall between 8:00 am – 2:30 pm or 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, with some flexibility
  • Assignment runs ASAP through May 28th, 2027
  • Hours may increase, depending on caseload needs
