This full-time, on-site role runs from late August through early June, giving you the chance to support students across two school sites in an itinerant capacity. Expect to collaborate with outstanding educators, adapt your expertise to varied caseloads, and see your contributions directly impact students’ progress. You’ll enhance your resume with exposure to different workplace approaches, add meaningful bilingual experience, and enjoy exploring Illinois during your downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish & English required
  • Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement and current IL SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide itinerant speech/language services at two assigned schools
  • Manage a caseload averaging 45 students (all placements within state limits)
  • Support a diverse, multilingual student population
  • Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to promote student success
