This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Current Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility to support K-12 students during the 2025-26 school year. The position is a contract role based in an elementary school located approximately 30 minutes northeast of Columbia, SC, serving the Elgin area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a K-12 educational setting
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement individualized therapy interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Current Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school-based settings
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with children, families, and school staff
  • Commitment to professional ethics and ongoing development

Job Details:

  • Duration: Contract for the 2025-26 school year
  • Workweek: 37.5 hours
  • Location: Elementary school near Elgin, approximately 30 minutes from Columbia, SC
