Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active South Carolina SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Experience working in a school setting preferred, though strong clinical skills and a commitment to working with children are highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and IEP participation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
- Support and advocate for student inclusion and engagement in learning activities
