Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active South Carolina SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred, though strong clinical skills and a commitment to working with children are highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and IEP participation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
  • Support and advocate for student inclusion and engagement in learning activities
