Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners’ communication skills in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity runs from August 4, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and focuses primarily on one elementary campus. With a workday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, you’ll be helping students in grades EE-5th, maintaining a caseload that typically remains under 65.
This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about fostering language growth in diverse student populations and enjoy the variety that comes from supporting different needs each day. Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP, including CCC or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing caseload and work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Daily responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver speech and language interventions to students from early childhood through 5th grade
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to monitor student progress
- Document services and prepare reports following school guidelines
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings as needed
