Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position centers on a single elementary campus with school-day hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, serving a caseload of approximately 50 students.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) welcomed
  • Experience in school settings or related healthcare environments
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, including updating progress and developing new goals
  • Confident in conducting evaluations and delivering therapy to a diverse population of elementary students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, documenting results and making appropriate recommendations
  • Attend IEP meetings to share student progress, participate in goal setting, and collaborate with facilitators and team members
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
  • Effectively manage time between therapy, evaluations, and administrative tasks
  • Take advantage of hybrid scheduling after staying current on therapy minutes, evaluations, and ensuring no in-person meetings are planned
