School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Elizabeth City, North Carolina

An exciting opportunity awaits a talented Speech Language Pathologist in the Elizabeth City, NC area for the upcoming 2020-21 school year. This contract-based role is ideal for passionate professionals dedicated to supporting students’ communication and language development in a dynamic school environment. Both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and those with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are invited to apply and bring their expertise to this rewarding setting.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Active state certification and licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina
• Open to SLPs with CCC or those completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Strong commitment to fostering student growth and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, teachers, and families

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, delivering therapy and conducting evaluations
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
• Communicate progress and collaborate effectively with family members and educators
• Participate in school-based meetings and professional development as needed
