Bring your passion for helping children thrive as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant school environment near Elizabeth City, NC! This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a measurable difference for students while collaborating with a supportive team of educational professionals. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week running from August 12, 2026, through June 7, 2027, you’ll experience a rewarding school year with guaranteed hours and no non-clinical duties outside of your contracted time.

Utilize your expertise in pediatric speech therapy to provide both direct and indirect services to a diverse group of students. Travel therapists may also be eligible for stipends.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain before start date)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience or strong interest in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based setting
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions both in individual and group formats
