This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) runs from August 12, 2026, through June 7, 2027, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a school setting near Elizabeth City, NC.
As a valued SLP, you’ll work with pediatric populations, providing both direct and indirect services without extra district duties outside of your contracted hours—no bus duty, car line, lunchroom, or parent pickup responsibilities. Travel therapists are eligible for stipends, making this a fantastic role for both local and itinerant professionals looking for supportive schedules and guaranteed hours.
Ideal candidates bring one or more of the following credentials and experiences:
- Active or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience or passion for working in pediatric and/or school-based settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering a full range of speech and language services to students K-12
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress records
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Participating in IEP meetings within contracted hours
