Make a difference in a child's life by delivering in-home speech therapy services for a school-aged student requiring compensatory speech support. This opportunity, located near Elizabeth, NJ, seeks a speech professional to work one-on-one with a student who needs speech instruction twice a week for 20-minute sessions, spanning from March 17 through June. What We're Seeking:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current license or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, or strong pediatric experience welcome
  • Previous experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings as an SLP
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and professional standards
  • Ability to build rapport with school-aged children and caregivers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable access to transportation for in-home visits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized speech therapy sessions at the student’s home, twice weekly
  • Deliver tailored instruction targeting identified speech and language goals
  • Document progress and maintain accurate session records per guidelines
  • Collaborate with family members and educational team as needed
  • Ensure sessions are conducted in compliance with all relevant school and professional standards
  • Offer feedback and guidance to families to encourage continued growth between sessions
