Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students during a maternity leave coverage from September 22, 2026, through January 27, 2027. Provide comprehensive speech and language services in a dynamic school-based environment, working with kindergarten through 5th-grade students. This full-time, Monday through Friday role (8:40 am–3:40 pm) offers the chance to make a lasting impact on the developing communication skills of approximately 30 young learners.

Desirable skills and background:

  • Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC or CFY considered)
  • Relevant experience in school settings or pediatric SLP services
  • Proficiency in teletherapy for hybrid or remote service delivery, if required
  • Strong collaboration skills for teaming with educators, families, and support staff
  • Excellent documentation, time management, and communication abilities
  • Compassionate approach tailored to the needs of elementary-aged students

What you’ll do here:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a varied caseload of K–5 students
  • Conduct formal and informal assessments; participate in IEP development
  • Adapt therapeutic interventions to suit individual and group needs
  • Maintain clear, timely records and progress notes in accordance with school district requirements
  • Consult with classroom teachers and parents to support student success and generalization of skills
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
