Provide comprehensive speech and language services in a dynamic school-based environment, working with kindergarten through 5th-grade students. This full-time, Monday through Friday role (8:40 am–3:40 pm) offers the chance to make a lasting impact on the developing communication skills of approximately 30 young learners.
Desirable skills and background:
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC or CFY considered)
- Relevant experience in school settings or pediatric SLP services
- Proficiency in teletherapy for hybrid or remote service delivery, if required
- Strong collaboration skills for teaming with educators, families, and support staff
- Excellent documentation, time management, and communication abilities
- Compassionate approach tailored to the needs of elementary-aged students
What you’ll do here:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a varied caseload of K–5 students
- Conduct formal and informal assessments; participate in IEP development
- Adapt therapeutic interventions to suit individual and group needs
- Maintain clear, timely records and progress notes in accordance with school district requirements
- Consult with classroom teachers and parents to support student success and generalization of skills
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
