Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows may be considered
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and experience with assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities using a variety of assessment tools
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in both individual and group formats
  • Document student progress and maintain detailed records to meet school and legal requirements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ overall success
  • Communicate regularly with parents and educators about goals, interventions, and achievements
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training
