Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates welcome
  • Previous experience in school settings highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple age groups

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of student speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) based on students’ unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports compliant with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to support student achievement
  • Engage in ongoing professional development relevant to roles within school-based SLP positions
