School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Elk Grove Village, Illinois

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA CCC’s or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Valid and current state licensure or ability to obtain credentials before starting
• Experience working with school-aged children, including implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to helping students achieve their goals

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech and language needs in students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP mandates
• Work closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to integrate therapy into daily activities
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation on student progress, therapy activities, and compliance requirements
• Educate and engage families to foster home support for skills developed in therapy sessions
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEP development, and provide professional recommendations
