Speech Language Pathologist in Elk River, MN

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience serving as an SLP in schools, particularly with early childhood or preschool populations
• Familiarity with early childhood special education (ECSE) caseloads
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
• Ability to provide professional references and up-to-date resume

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of children ages 3-5 in an early childhood setting
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized service plans
• Conduct screenings and assessments to identify needs and measure student progress
• Contribute to IEP team meetings with actionable insights and recommendations
• Maintain accurate student records and comply with district and state guidelines
• Communicate progress and strategies for support to families and staff
