With a dedicated focus on direct SLP services and involvement in the IEP process, you’ll be key in helping students communicate and succeed.
What You’ll Need:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (ASHA CCC required)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings
- Strong understanding of direct intervention and developing IEPs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to provide supervision to support staff, including Tier 2 SLPs
- Proficiency with due process paperwork and case management
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to approximately 57 K-5 students
- Conduct assessments, develop and manage IEPs, and maintain documentation
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Oversee and support a Tier 2 SLP at a nearby secondary campus
- Communicate regularly with staff and families to monitor student progress
- Complete required paperwork in a timely and compliant manner
