Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Elkhart, IN

Bring your expertise in speech-language therapy to a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in the Elkhart, IN area! This assignment seeks an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or an SLPA (with available supervision) to provide essential services in a school setting. The position covers a long-term leave from September 14th to March 1st, 2027.

You’ll support a manageable caseload of 41 students, including individualized attention for 1-2 students at a nearby alternative education center. Your work will help students reach critical communication and academic milestones during a pivotal time in their development.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Active SLP-CCC or SLPA licensure in Indiana
• School-based speech therapy experience highly valued
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
• Strong assessment and intervention skills across a range of communication disorders
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively
• Compassion for diverse student needs and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized speech-language goals
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy aligned with students’ IEPs
• Track progress and update documentation in accordance with school guidelines

• Provide services at both the primary school location and alternative education site as needed
