Speech Language Pathologist in Elkhorn, NE

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting school-aged children near Elkhorn, NE. Multiple full-time opportunities are available for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 20, 2026, and continuing through May 27, 2027. With a weekly schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours, you'll play a crucial role in fostering student communication and academic success.

You’ll work with a caseload of approximately 50 students, with preferences for age group and population thoughtfully considered—choose the assignment that aligns best with your strengths and interests.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for Nebraska public schools
• Previous experience in a school environment preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Ability to adapt and tailor intervention strategies for diverse student needs
• Team-oriented approach and a student-centered mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to assigned students
• Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school functions
• Maintain accurate session notes and required documentation
