Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and eligibility for practice in the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations (K-12)
  • Familiarity with school-based SLP settings and IEP documentation
  • Comfortable providing teletherapy in addition to traditional onsite sessions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering student engagement and progress

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students requiring speech and language services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and parents to support students’ communication goals in the school setting
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
  • Adapt therapy sessions to both in-person and virtual formats, as needed
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
