Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or Communication Disorders)
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Strong background supporting elementary-aged students
  • Experience with school-based caseloads and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to engage with diverse learners and adapt strategies to meet individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to elementary students per their IEPs
  • Screen, evaluate, and diagnose communication disorders
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote effective interventions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain detailed documentation
  • Conduct progress monitoring and adjust therapy approaches as needed
  • Offer consultation, resources, and training as required to support classroom strategies
