Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working with school-age children, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and work with individualized education programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students according to their IEPs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments as required
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all district documentation requirements
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and family conferences as needed
- Support students in reaching their communication and academic goals during the maternity leave period
