Desired Experience & Credentials:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology CCC certification
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in North Carolina
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong understanding of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable, organized, and collaborative attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and manage IEPs for students identified with speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records and detailed documentation of student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and other team conferences as needed
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families to promote effective communication strategies in the classroom and at home
