A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to work in a vibrant school setting near Ellicott City, MD. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adhere to all documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and therapy planning
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, as well as classroom-based suggestions
