A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to work in a vibrant school setting near Ellicott City, MD. Your expertise will help empower students to meet their speech and language goals, collaborating with a talented team of education professionals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ progress
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and adhere to all documentation requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and therapy planning
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services, as well as classroom-based suggestions
