We're seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide dynamic speech and language services on a contract basis. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals based on student assessments
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities
- Document student progress and maintain detailed and timely records as required by the school and state guidelines
- Participate in intervention and IEP meetings, sharing expertise and advocating for student needs
