Ideal candidates bring expertise in speech-language pathology within educational settings and hold strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth and learning.
What You'll Need:
- Active Maryland SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will also be considered
- School-based SLP experience is valued
- Experience with IEPs, goal writing, and data collection in K-12 environments
- Commitment to onsite services
What You’ll Do:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and direct therapy to students in both group and individual settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to support student success
- Maintain accurate records, session notes, and progress data according to state and district regulations
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as required
- Promote positive and inclusive learning environments
