Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license in Maryland and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working in schools preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy for a caseload of approximately 9 students (7.25 direct service hours weekly)
  • Support with make-up sessions and assist other therapists as needed
  • Adapt to changes in caseload as new students enroll
  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and complete documentation requirements
