Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving a diverse student population for the entire 2026-2027 school year. This full-time assignment offers stability and professional growth, focusing on supporting students from early childhood through 12th grade, with the current caseload primarily consisting of early childhood and elementary students.
The position follows a friendly Tuesday-Friday schedule with 35 hours per week and extended 8.75-hour workdays, providing a three-day weekend to support work-life balance. You’ll enjoy the challenge and rewards of managing a caseload of approximately 50 students, helping them develop essential communication skills and succeed academically.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Missouri SLP license or eligibility by start date
- Open to those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- School-based SLP experience is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and documentation for K-12 students
- Excellence in communication, organization, and collaboration
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students at varying grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and meet compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and guidance
- Provide direct and consultative services across a range of grade levels, with a focus on early childhood and elementary groups
