A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for an Extended School Year (ESY) contract opportunity, starting July 8. This position is located near Ellsworth, ME, and offers an onsite schedule of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week—perfect for those who appreciate work-life balance while having a positive impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status accepted
  • Familiarity with school-based settings and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to students enrolled in ESY programming
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
  • Engage in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies for students
