Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid SLP licensure in North Carolina (CCC or eligible CFY candidates welcomed)
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and evidence-based therapy approaches
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, staff, and families
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in group and individual settings
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare necessary documentation
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, providing recommendations and support for student success
  • Engage families and caregivers in the therapeutic process through consultation and progress updates
