Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid SLP licensure in North Carolina (CCC or eligible CFY candidates welcomed)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and evidence-based therapy approaches
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, staff, and families
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in group and individual settings
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare necessary documentation
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, providing recommendations and support for student success
- Engage families and caregivers in the therapeutic process through consultation and progress updates
