School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Elmendorf, Texas

As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll have the opportunity to make a daily impact by delivering high-quality therapy services, supervising SLPAs, and helping students access their fullest potential.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience providing speech and language services in school settings
• Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred
• Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Oversee and mentor SLPAs in daily activities and interventions
• Manage a diverse student caseload with varying needs
• Conduct assessments, create evaluation reports, and participate in ARD meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain detailed records and comply with all local, state, and federal requirements
