This part-time role covers a Speech-Language Pathologist on maternity leave and is perfect for professionals seeking meaningful work with a manageable caseload. You’ll be working with grades 6-8, providing essential services to approximately 40 students.

This assignment is set for three days per week, running from August 11, 2026, through November 6, 2026, giving you the chance to make a tangible difference while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous school-based experience, especially with middle school students, is highly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy and intervention services to students in grades 6-8
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to support student communication goals
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress and services provided
  • Participate in meetings as needed, contributing insights and recommendations for student success
