A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in a K-12 district located in Elmira, California. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment supporting students across all grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Certification of Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) status
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills for speech and language disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other related service providers
- Familiarity with state and federal educational regulations and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students with communication disorders
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with district policies and state guidelines
- Support educators and families by offering strategies and resources to enhance communication skills in classroom and home environments
