This full-time role places you in a vibrant educational environment, working with middle and high school students—primarily 9th graders up through transition, alongside select 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
Your responsibilities include conducting both initial and re-evaluations for students requiring speech-language services. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:45am-3:15pm, totaling 35 hours each week. The role begins August 17, 2026, continuing until September 15, with a possible extension during the transition period.
Ideal qualifications and preferences include:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Illinois SLP licensure and educator credentials (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Demonstrated experience providing SLP services in school settings, especially with pediatric and adolescent populations
- Knowledge of best practices for IEP-driven assessments, re-evaluations, and goal setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for interacting with students, staff, and families
