This full-time, in-person contract role serves students from preschool through 6th grade and partners closely with the Director of Special Education to provide meaningful, effective interventions that help every child thrive.

Essential Qualifications:
- Current WA SLP License
- Experience working with students requiring special education services and their families
- Strong skills in assessment, evaluation, and consultative practices
- Ability to infuse fun and positivity into daily routines
- Talent for building professional, collaborative relationships with students, families, staff, and wider community partners
- Thorough understanding of the special education process, disability categories, and relevant procedures; experience in early learning and atypical impairments is valuable
- Capability to manage all aspects of special education identification and planning processes
- Outstanding communicator—actively listens and fosters two-way dialogue using the right channels
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to preschool through 6th grade students
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families about individualized education plans
- Utilize humor and creativity to create a welcoming, motivating therapy space
