This opportunity involves working with a diverse preschool population, directly delivering essential speech and language assessments and therapy services. You’ll also play a vital part in conducting evaluations for students from private and nonpublic schools, broadening your professional experience and positively influencing developing communicators.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered
  • Experience with early childhood or preschool-aged learners preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Organizational skills and flexibility to manage a part-time schedule

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments for preschoolers, as well as private and nonpublic school students
  • Delivering direct services in both individual and small group settings
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, caregivers, and other service providers to ensure optimal support
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress reports
  • Participating in IEP meetings as needed
