As an SLP—whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or are a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY)—you will play an essential part in guiding students toward improved communication skills and greater classroom participation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current California SLP licensure or eligibility
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status
  • Passion for working with preschool-aged children
  • Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for preschool, private school, and nonpublic school students, determining strengths and areas of need
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language intervention plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services to preschoolers in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student growth and integrate strategies into classroom routines
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in eligibility or progress meetings as required

This part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) offers the flexibility to engage in meaningful work while balancing your personal and professional commitments. Compensation ranges from $55 to $75 per hour, reflecting your skills and experience.
