As an SLP—whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or are a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY)—you will play an essential part in guiding students toward improved communication skills and greater classroom participation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP licensure or eligibility
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status
- Passion for working with preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with a range of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for preschool, private school, and nonpublic school students, determining strengths and areas of need
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to preschoolers in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student growth and integrate strategies into classroom routines
- Maintain accurate records and participate in eligibility or progress meetings as required
