School Speech Language Pathologist - Emeryville, California

A contract, part-time opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) to provide essential services to young learners in the Emeryville area. This role centers on evaluating and supporting preschool students while also offering expertise to private and nonpublic school populations. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Experience with early childhood and/or preschool-age children preferred
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for preschool, private, and nonpublic school students
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting a range of speech and language needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student development
• Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and parent conferences as needed
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
