A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Emporia, VA. This contract role offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek supporting students’ communication needs across various grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to create effective individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Deliver therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of each student.
• Monitor and document progress to ensure treatment goals are met.
• Participate in meetings and maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
