Certified Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Encinitas, CA

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Active licensure required for school-based SLPs in California
• Experience working with high school students strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment practices
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for high school students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with each student’s unique needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations to support student success
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress tracking compliant with school policies and state/federal regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to create supportive and inclusive learning environments
• Offer guidance and resources to families and staff regarding speech and language development
