Certified High School Speech Language Pathologist in Encinitas, CA

Your role will primarily serve a high school caseload, giving you the chance to work with adolescents and help them overcome communication challenges that affect both academic and social success. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience in a high school or secondary education setting is desirable
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services to students on your caseload
• Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom
• Regularly communicate progress and strategies with families
• Maintain accurate records and submit necessary documentation in a timely manner
