Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for a maternity coverage assignment spanning from the beginning of the school year through winter break. This role focuses on providing skilled speech and language services at the elementary level, working with approximately 60 students. Utilizing your expertise in school-based therapy—whether you are an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or experienced in pediatric or teletherapy settings—you’ll play an essential part in helping students reach their communication potential in a vibrant educational environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP state licensure or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
  • Experience delivering speech and language services in a school, pediatric, or healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong collaborative skills with educators, school staff, and families
  • Ability to provide engaging sessions both in-person and via teletherapy platforms

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech and language impairments in students grades K–6
  • Create and implement effective, individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for holistic student support
  • Maintain detailed documentation for assessments, progress, and compliance requirements
  • Deliver services to a manageable student caseload centered at one elementary school campus
  • Offer support and recommendations to enhance communication access in the classroom
