Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license (must be obtained before start date)
- Bilingual Spanish skills required
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred
- Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites within the district
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 student population, on-site only
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to foster each student’s academic and social success
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and maintain accurate documentation according to district and state standards
- Offer support and guidance to Clinical Fellows as needed
