Desired Skills and Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• Colorado licensure appropriate for school-based SLP practice (or eligibility)
• Experience supporting speech and language needs in PreK or elementary settings
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to tailor interventions to individual goals and IEP objectives

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual or small group sessions
• Conduct assessments and evaluations; develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the team
• Monitor and document students’ progress, modifying goals as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and family members to ensure consistent support
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as a valued team member
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation per district and state requirements
